Sew a Crochet Head to the Body — Full Tutorial

Follow the invisible seam

Andy uses bright red thread on a white crochet bunny so you can see where the needle travels. As the stitches are tightened, the joining thread becomes concealed between the two pieces.

Watch how the needle alternates between the head and the body. Pause after a few stitches to compare your thread path, then bring the edges together gradually without pulling the crochet fabric out of shape.

Take your time with alignment

Position the head and check its direction before sewing. Recheck the face from the front and side as you work, keeping the join even around the neck. The full video lets you revisit each movement at a comfortable pace.
